Clips on paperback books easily, and stays on. Like the 1- or 2-light option. LED lighting is bright but not glaring. Bought a 2nd one since the first wound up in the office for the computer (prefer low lighting and keyboard is black). Sits nicely on the desk without being clipped to anything. Adapter is small and lightweight; cord could be a bit longer for hard-to-reach outlets, but an extension solves that. Great product!

This is a great little booklight. The telescoping arm and fully rotating LED head makes it easy to throw the light exactly where you need it on the page. The LED lights are indeed mighty bright and they remain so for many hours. When they finally do dim, you can easily replace their standard AAA batteries. It also comes with a power supply, but I never use it because I don't want wires dangling from my book!

Very bright. Having both battery and a/c adaptor is a useful plus. Only negative is that the clamp is too weak to work well on my music stand. Once I got it positioned, the lamps are flexible, don't take up a lot of room and provide strong light. I like the two lighting level positions for each lamp and having two lamps is great. Definitely recommend this product.

The company that manufactures this light is called Mighty Bright, and for good reason! The lamp gives off more than enough light to read by in a pitch black room. It has two brightness settings, one with both LEDs and another with just one. The LEDs in this lamp are so bright, that only one is really needed, having two is an added bonus. I'm not using a power adatpter, I'm running off of 3 AAA batteries.

I've been using the Danray Products Snake-Arm lamp along with the magnifier attachment for well over 2 months now and can report that I am extremely happy with it. What makes it even greater is this magnifier attachment. I use mine a lot for small plastic models and it's amazingly useful when you want to view up-close detail of parts for painting and/or cutting. The extra meniscus attachment is even better for ultra fine detail. Another nice thing about this attachment is that it is large! I have found it large enough to comfortably view any object. The build quality is the same as the lamp, with its industrial strength holding power and top notch workmanship. This lamp and magnifier are a must have for anyone working with small objects, or needs a lot of light and easy adjustability. I highly recommend it for modelers, architects, work benches, art and crafts enthusiasts and even in the office... it's just that versatile. I purchased this lamp about 2 month ago and I can honestly say that it is the best snake-arm lamp I have ever used. I directly mounted mine to a utility desk that I use for building small-scale models and it is a real gem. This thing really holds its position at ANY angle. I used those lamps from hobby stores with the springs that would always loose their hold after about 1 week. With this lamp, it was not the case at all. It has been holding the same since the day I got it, even with me constantly moving it around in different positions.

This is an industrial strength, perfectly designed lamp for any work space that needs an adjustable lamp. I used numerous extendable arm lamps that would only last about a year before the lamp position would no longer stay set to where I put it. Ordered this model after reseaching LED lamps on many web sites. This is an excellent lamp for my computer desktop. The silver looks great against my Dell brushed aluminum LCD monitor. Positioning is flexible with the double joints, twisting lamp bar, and included heavy base or clamp mount. Construction has a very solid, durable feel yet is lightweight. Four brightness levels provide more than enough light. I keep it on 3 for computer work. Really like LED low heat and limited angle of projection. This allows me to position this just in front of my monitor without producing screen glare or shining back in my eyes. Yes it is more expensive than most but since it gets used all day every day it is well worth the price to me.

When I was in the market for a desk lamp, I needed one that would stand up to the punishment that I would give. This model fullfilled the requirement. I use the lamp every day and many times I leave the lamp on most of the day. The lamp I had before didn't last but one year and wan't the best value. I am hard on desk lamps and this model isn't a "Hi Intensity" model, You don't really need one that powerful just for everyday use.
